Stakeholder Open House Events
TCLP welcomes the general public to join us at our Climate Action Open House events at the Traverse Area District Library, located at 610 Woodmere Ave. During these 4 unique Open House events, the public will have the opportunity to learn more about the climate response strategies we’re focused on and share their feedback.

Public Surveys
To further engage with our customers, TCLP will be conducting a survey initiative that aims to measure your interest in climate action strategies, understanding of plan strategies, and gauge your willingness to adopt crucial changes to the way you consume energy to directly impact our region’s climate health. If you are an existing customer you may be contacted directly to participate.
Fall 2022 – Spring 2023
Design of Climate Action Plan
Following initial research and consultations, TCLP will begin designing its Climate Action Plan in full detail. The development will be directly informed by the feedback we received from the prior open houses, public surveying, and additional stakeholder discussions.
May 2023
Unveiling of Climate Action Plan
TCLP unveiled its Climate Action Plan to all in May of 2023. A formal document was disbursed in Summer 2023. The plan is now being operationalized.
